How to Get Fiber Into Your Diet

There are several ways to get fiber into your diet. A local bakery makes cookies with flax, raw oat, and other forms of seeds and grains. The cookies are surprisingly cheap (compared to what is in the health food store) and healthy. One way to test how much fat is in a cookie is to see how hard it is. The harder it is, the less fat it has. In fact, if you take a trip to Healthy Diabetic Recipes you'll find a lot of NO FAT cookies.

Cookies are easy to make. You can put anything in them. You can create cookies that have the dose of anti arthrecti pain herbs or colon cleansers. Ginger cookies are great for colon cleansing.

Recipe Ingredients:
1 cup Diabetic Orange Marmalade
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 cup Shortening
2 cup Flour
1 Egg
1 cup Chopped Dates
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 cup Nuts
1 tsp Vanilla

Now, there are a couple things you need to know. First, you don't need to use diabetic Marmalade. This recipe does have shortening, but you can reduce the amount. You can also remove the yolk from the egg - but the cookies may not rise.

There are conflicting reports as to the health factor of artificial sweeteners.
