Earn Points With the Boss

I often forget that many of my readers are still in the corporate or working world. I need to start giving them a few insights into the IT world, and give them a few ways to earn points with the boss. This has very little to do with your health. However, most of my business is built around small business and ecommerce business. I am always finding things that help small businesses and work at home professionals.

I found one today that creates short animations for businesses to help them with customer service and empolyee relations. This is perfect for companies that focus on the younger generation who are comfortable with icons, emoticons, Kiwee - MeeMee and other animations. They respond better to these animations than they do to lectures and videos.

They also offer call center customer service training and solutions - the least favorite department in any business.

The firm was founded by two successful entrepreneurs, Raymond J. Hansell and Marysue Lucci. Prior to MaraStar's birth in 1999, the team built RMH Teleservices. RMH was taken public in 1990 (RMHT, NASDAQ). Ray and Marysue sought new challenges in corporate communications. They created an organization to help other organizations motivate their employees. They used their managerial talents to address core problems of employee performance, and turnover reduction in humorous manner.

"Our strategy is to use today's technology to create a better network of communications - one which will enhance relationships between employers and employees, businesses and customers, and organizations and their members."

Cabela's, Inc. posted several animations from Marastar’s ToonUp Your Call Center package to their intranet site. Since they posted the cartoons, thousands of their employees have accessed the sales and customer care applications. The animations are beneficial in offering tips that help them achieve their goals within both areas of service. Learn more at their site.
