The first sign of aging is our skin. If we can keep our skin looking young, then we can defy age. It is not hard to keep younger looking skin. The first step is to drink lots of water. Water will add the translucence back to the skin. But, it also cleans the poisons out of our body so that our skin doesn't need to work over time to keep us healthy.
I've blogged about skin care, but there are blogs devoted totally to Skin care.
The biggest mistake is believing a cream will help. Your skin is the largest organ in the body. It helps keep the body clean, protects the flesh and nerves, and fights off disease. The problem is that it takes years to learn how to maintain healthy skin, and look younger.
Bookmark www.skinhealthtoday.com. Sign up for their email list. They even have a weekly radio show. It is possible to look younger, take a look at today's stars. TheAt 40 and 50 they have maintained the skin of a 30 year old.
One thing I do to keep my skin looking soft is to clean my makeup off as soon as I am home. This lets my skin breath. I refrain from eating things that clog my pours. I do not use soap or moisturizers. The only chemical I use is volcanic exfoliating cleaner. This further removes the dead skin. As long as my skin can breath, and as long as I drink lots of water, my skin has maintained its healthy glow.
