Beware the Payment Protection Insurance Scam

Laying a claim for compensation is not be the first thing on a person's mind after an accident. Their first concern is usually for their loved ones. OR, it is naturally anger. But, do you understand when you are a victim? It is when you have hurt yourself because someone parked across your driveway and you slipped trying to carry the garbage around. It is when you cannot persuade your landlord to mend the roof. It is when the neighbor cuts down your tree, or their dog is ruining your yard.

If you are injured or suffered a loss, even if it was not a serious 'injury' then but it forces you to change your lifestyle through something that wasn’t your fault, you may be able to make some Accident Claims. But, just being injured, even if it is serious, doesn't mean that you will be able to claim compensation, because sometimes there is no one, apart from yourself, to blame.

Most compensation claims are for 'negligence' - when a person or organisation does not taken reasonable care when they should have . This is not the only type of accident compensation. There are many scams out there you can receive compensation for if you were hooked.

One of the most common rackets is Payment Protection Insurance. Even if it was a bank or big insurance company who pressured you into feeling you must buy the insurance, or were self employed.

Find out your rights.
