If you want to have a small business, but do not want to learn how to run one, you just want to bring in a bit of money and keep busy, then you should look into affiliate marketing.

All you need is a small website, register domain names, and set up affiliate codes. Do not stick to the .com domains. Look for the country ones:

Australia .au
Canada .ca
England .co.uk
USA .us

These will let you expand your market, and attract people from around the world. Affiliate marketing can include selling domain name registration services, or web hosting, or shopping carts. The important thing to remember is 'keep it narrow'. Create a niche site and don't try to cater to everyone at once.

There are an unlimited number of places on the web where you can learn how to run an online busienss. The important thing is to look for a community that supports its members, not a guru who has 'secrets' to sell, but you don't meet anyone, or read anything until after you pay money.

Also, look for a guru with a book in print - not just an ebook.
