Heart Rate Monitor Controls Your Television

One of the easiest ways to work out is to exercise on a treadmill or a stationary bicycle that is parked six feet away from the television. The objective is to entertain yourself while getting a workout. In theory this is great. The television will help distract you from your aching, straining, really buff body as you put it through its paces.

When reality hits, you are 'gliding' along trying to keep the exercise equipment as quiet as possible so you can hear the show. Now there is a great tool called the EnterTRAINER. This fitness gadget monitors your heart rate. When your heart rate falls below a preset target zone, the gadget turns the television's volume down. If this isn't annoying enough, the EnterTRAINER will turn the television off if you don't get your heart rate back up. When you are working out hard again, the television comes on.

This would be really annoying if you were watching a movie, or a favorite television show, and the television turned off just before you found out who the murderer is, or who will inherit the dead grandmother's fifty million dollars. Either way, it is not a cheap little toy. At $140 USD, it will only appeal to the very determined, or the very desperate.
